Our Story

When my girls were little, a small local ice cream shop became our place for celebrations, good weeks, and "just because." Those simple trips turned into core memories. Back home in Raceland, I wanted my son, and every family here, to have that same hometown spot. Southern Sweets is that place: somewhere to stop after school, celebrate a good report card, or end a ballgame with a treat together. A few years ago, I saw the need and had the vision. God's timing is always perfect, and He aligned it for now. I've always felt my purpose was to serve goodness. I just never knew it would be with ice cream.
